 Today i read a book named Te Tiriti o Waitangi it is about how the people from England came to New Zealand. in 1790 pakeha came to hunt seals and whales for oil .By 1830 several hundred pakeha most of them British were living in what they called New Zealand.Tomorrow i will share part 2

The story was about the mum and the boy named Benji they went to the library."my mum is big not big in size big in personlity and when the email from the library fine arrived the mum went nuts ."twenty dollars! that's outrageous come on, Benji time for a lesson in how to stand up for yourself." "why don't you pay the fine"i asked.That way you woudn't have a problem. Absolutely not. its about justice. she smacked the seering wheel with the palm of her hand. its about whats right its a about utu. I baulked "Utu"? its  geting serious"don't freak out at the librarian.Mum promise? just be nice you don't need  revege."

The BFG

 My book I am reading at home is The BFG. My favourite author is Roald Dahl. The BFG is about Sophie and the Giant. He is a kind giant but other giants are mean to him. Sophie stays with the BFG in his cave. He looks after her and hides her when the bad giants come.

I like reading every night before I go to sleep. 

My reading book at home is finished. It was Fantastic Mr Fox

I like reading

I like to read because it is fun. My favourite book is Matilda. My aunty read the book to me and my brother Kodi. 

Matilda is about a little girl who lived with her mean family. Her father is the meanest in the family. Matilda's teacher Miss Honey is kind to her. 

Matilda is a very smart girl and has special powers. I wish I had special powers like her.
