For this activity I had to write my own words for a song. I chose to do Jingle Bell. I changed the words and played the piano and my aunty sang the words. The song is about summer.
Hello Reece, Matilda here from Owairaka District school. I adored your post, I especially liked how you added a video. I have just done this activity! Maybe next time you could change the colour of the writing. What's your favourite song? Bye, Matilda🦦
Wow Reece, you have combined Jingle Bells with summer themes really well. Awesome that you also played the piano and encouraged your Aunty to sing too. I just played your video for my family and they loved it!
I think you might enjoy the Christmas Day SLJ Blog post too... look out for it. 🎅🏾

Kia ora Reece,
ReplyDeleteCharlotte here from the SLJ team.
Wow, what an awesome video! You played your song brilliantly on the piano and created such a fitting summer song.
It is so lovely to see you working together with your Aunty. What a lovely Aunty you have!
Have you been learning piano for a long time? I have been trying to learn to play ukulele but I find it tricky!
I think you did such a great job that I am going to mark this as an “outstanding blog post”. That means you receive bonus points. Ka pai!
Keep up the amazing piano playing and songwriting Reece!
Nga mihi,
Charlotte
