 Making a sun dial

Today I made a sun dial following how Nanogirl made her one. I used cardboard from a box. The sun dial is a great idea. I put it outside so I can check tomorrow morning where the shadow is. Thank you for the activity Nanogirl. I enjoyed it.

Today I played the game and got a few wrong then I got better and got a lot more right. I started looking at the blurry backgrounds and the smudged faces and knew the fake faces from the real ones.

 Its cool to be kind

Today I did the it's cool to be kind activity. I had to find a kind comment on my blog and then reply. I chose to reply to Elle's comment because it was very kind and she gave me bonus points.

 3D Paper

Today I learnt how to fold paper to make a 3d shape. I chose to do the cup. You can use the cup for drinks but I want to use my cup to serve pop corn when my cousins come over for movies.

 Today I had to do the Jingle Bell activity. I wrote my words, then I practised and asked my uncle to record me singing and playing the piano.

 Today's activity was super hard. The Pigpen cipher was easy but the Caesar cipher was super hard. I got a little bit of help from my aunty for the Caesar cipher activity but we think it we did it wrong.

 Today I had to read a story called Hana Koko. I read the story. It was so funny. I had to create my own santa costume.

For fun I dressed up as the Samoan Santa. Press play to watch.

Today I did a science experiment making a xylophone. I explain what I did in my screencastify. 

I also did the experiment using paper. I prefer the sounds the glass xylophone makes because it is louder and you can tell the difference in high and low pitch.

Today I was learning how to write comments on blogs. I have to write positive, helpful and helpful comments. 

I commented on Josh's blog. I like his blog post because the picture of the pancakes got my attention. My comment is a good quality comment because I was kind, I told Josh how I count syllables by clapping which is helpful and I was being kind because I said keep up the good work.
