Please write a letter to Jacinda about something that is important to you. Tell her why it is important and what you would like her to do about it.
Here are some ideas you could write about (or choose your own!):
  • We should have more/less school
  • Kids should be able to eat ice cream whenever they want
  • Swimming lessons should be free
  • Kids should be able to be Prime Minister
On your blog, share your letter to Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
Dear Jacinda,
My name is Reece. I would really like to ask you to please give our school a bigger and cleaner swimming pool. I like swimming in the summer but our school pool is sometimes dirty. It would be really fun to have a new swimming pool for my school. Thank you from Reece.

Summer learning journey Day 3

The water project.

In the video, I learnt about people who do not have water. They have to walk to find water. That made me sad.

I learnt there are people who are doing the Water Project to help people with no water have water. That is good to learn.

Garry Kasparov the world's best chess player.

Two good things about being the best chess player in the world
1. You are famous
2. You might get a lot of money

Two bad things about being the best chess player in the world.
1. Every time you beat someone at chess they might feel sad and never want to play chess again.
2. People might think you are cheating because you win all the time.
