  1. Hey there, Reece!

Ruby here, a commenter from SLJ.

So great you are keeping up with the news and learning about what is happening with the Covid situation here in Aotearoa! You write about it clearly and succinctly, which is awesome to see.

Where did your family have to drive to to get your vaccinations? I got to have mine outside of a supermarket in my local area, so it was good it was nice and close. Made it easy. I like how the government has given people incentives for getting vaccinated and even coming to their houses to do them in some cases, looking out for the people who find it harder for whatever reason.

I can't believe we are up to 90%! That's so many people. I guess not compared to the rest of the world, huh? I just did a bit of research and found out that 60% of the world has receieved at least one dose. Although I also learned that you can still get quite sick from just having a single dose, which is sad. I think we are lucky to live in a place where most people have had two. But I know not everyone agrees! Those are just my opinions. I would be keen to hear your opinions too!

Keep up the great work, being interested in the world and writing about it!

    Ngā mihi,
    Ruby
