Today I wrote a poem called that was summer. I used the slides to help me start by putting my nouns. I also used the google draw to write my poem.

SLJ Week 6 Thursday activity

 Gliding Time

Today I made a glider. I used some stuff I found in our house. I used straws, bongo chips bag, string and tape. I taped some string to my glider so it doesn't fly away. I will try it out when it is windy enough.

 Mondrian art

Hi everyone today I made art using google sheets. It was really fun colouring the cells and also designing my art. I chose to do patterns which relate to me.

The heart - represents my love for my family

Red and black - represents my Maori culture

The blue - represents my love of fishing 

The yellow - represents my favourite colour

The cross - represents my faith in Jesus

SLJ Week 6 Tuesday activity

 Soundtrack of Summer

Today I had to make a playlist of the songs I like to listen to in summer. I chose church songs because I like listening to church songs and watching the pianists play the piano because I play piano too. I also added some Christmas songs because Christmas is in summer in New Zealand.

SLJ Week 6 Monday activity

Today I built a SUPER SEESAW. I only needed a toilet paper core, some string and a wooden spoon to build it. It was easy to build. 

I had so much fun trying to land my boulder into a lunch bag. I only did it once but it was not recorded. I am still going to keep trying with my little brother. He is helping me with the activity.

SLJ Week 5 Friday activity

 Its a balancing act

Today I made a tower using rocks. How I built it was use the biggest rocks for the foundation then started building by adding more. It was a challenge because the tower collapsed a few times then I had to start again.
