Today I built a SUPER SEESAW. I only needed a toilet paper core, some string and a wooden spoon to build it. It was easy to build.
I had so much fun trying to land my boulder into a lunch bag. I only did it once but it was not recorded. I am still going to keep trying with my little brother. He is helping me with the activity.
Here are some photos of me and my super seesaw and some clips for you to watch. This is a super fun activity.
Kia ora Reece,
ReplyDeleteFiona here from the summer learning journey. What a great looking seesaw you have made - ka pai! It catapults the boulder really high! I really enjoyed watching you work with your younger brother to try and get the boulder into the lunch bag.
I hope you are able to get the boulder to land in the lunch bag again and capture the moment on video. If you do, can you please add the video to your blog? I'd love to see how it lands!
Great to read that you really enjoyed this cool activity. I am so impressed by all your mahi this summer and how much effort you put into all your blog posts.
Keep up the fantastic summer learning.
Mā te wā,
Fiona (SLJ)

ReplyDeleteGreat catapult building and I love your videos explaining what you build and the materials needed as well as you trying to get it into the box!
