Its a balancing act
Today I made a tower using rocks. How I built it was use the biggest rocks for the foundation then started building by adding more. It was a challenge because the tower collapsed a few times then I had to start again.
Here are some photos and a clip of me talking about my tower.

ReplyDeleteWell done, you have done a great job on the Balancing Act activity and well done for stepping it up! It’s so awesome to see that you’ve made such a tall rock tower, and that you’ve used the shape of a pyramid for extra stability! 20 rocks is a lot to use and that is such a cool idea putting the largest and flattest stones at the bottom. Clever building!
Were you able to get it all balanced the first try? Or did it take you a few tries? I would love to know!
Keep up the great work Reece - I am thoroughly impressed by your involvement in the Summer Learning Journey!

Hello Reece,
DeleteWell done for persisting! I'm so glad that you kept trying, because you have an awesome finished product! I thought it was really clever to put a cardboard box underneath it so that you had a flat surface. Great thinking!
Keep it up Reece, you are doing an awesome job.
